It is very simple and easy. Close the inner lid, so that your fingers doesn't get covered with foundation and push the bottom circle of cushion and it will pop-out.
Then, simply replace it with new one.
One way to find out when your cushion is about to finish is to press with a puff and see how much you get on the puff.
You will naturally know whether you're running out or not.
